I have gambled on millions of hands of 21. I began working my way into the casinos when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short time. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at 21. The casinos have made it very hard to beat the house.

I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this tactic or beat the casino, still you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of runs. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I wager with basic strategy 21. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the table minimum on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I return the wager back down to the original amount.

I am very strict and never back out. It gets very exciting at times. If you succeed at a few hands in a row your wagers go up very quickly. Before you realize it you are gambling $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I departed a $5 table at the Flamingo a few years back with $750 after 35 minutes using this method! And a number of months ago in Sin City I left a table with $1200!

You must understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more thrilling. And you will be amazed at the streaks you notice betting this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar table.

Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $5 bet

Bet 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total bet of ten dollar

Wager $10
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the initial $20 wager

Wager 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet forty dollar
Take forty dollar paid-out to you, leave the first $40 wager

Bet forty dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the first 80 dollar bet

Wager $80
Leave $80 paid to you for a total bet of $160

Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the initial one hundred and 60 dollar wager

If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!

It is hard to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and lower your bet or the end result will not be the same.
