I have enjoyed millions of hands of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a short while. With all that said I have still spent a lot of money at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the game.
I still enjoy the game and bet on a regular basis. Over the years I have gambled on a variation of blackjack called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this tactic or defeat the house, however you will have a lot of fun. This tactic is centered on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the table minimum on the next hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. As soon as I hit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and never back out. It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very fast. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a number of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a couple of weeks ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be surprised at the runs you see playing this way. Below is a chart of what you would bet if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take 5 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original 5 dollar bet
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 10 dollar
Bet $10
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the original 10 dollar wager
Bet $10
Leave $10 paid-out to you for a total wager of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 bet
Bet 20 dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Bet forty dollar
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar
Bet 80 dollar
Take $80 paid-out to you, leave the original $80 wager
Bet eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of one hundred and sixty dollar
Bet one hundred and sixty dollar
Take $160 paid-out to you, leave the initial $160 wager
If you departed at this moment you would be up 315 dollar !!
It is hard to go on a streak this long, but it can happen. And when it does you mustn’t alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
