I have bet on millions of hands of 21. I began sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have played online chemin de fer, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. Given all that I have still spent an abundance of funds at blackjack. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the house.

I still enjoy the game and play on a regular basis. Over the years I have played a type of twenty-one called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get flush with this method or beat the house, however you will experience a lot of fun. This method is based on the fact that blackjack appears to be a game of streaks. When you are hot your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Once I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I don’t win I lower the wager back down to the original bet.

I am very strict and do not "chicken out". It gets extremely thrilling on occasion. If you win a few hands in a row your bets go up very quickly. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had great runs a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Luxor a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Las Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You need to understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see wagering this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you continue winning at a five dollar game.

Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first $5 bet

Wager 5 dollar
Leave $5 paid to you for a total wager of ten dollar

Wager ten dollar
Take $10 paid-out to you, leave the initial ten dollar wager

Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of twenty dollar

Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the original 20 dollar wager

Bet 20 dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take $40 paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total bet of 80 dollar

Bet $80
Take $80 paid to you, leave the initial $80 bet

Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid-out to you, leave the original one hundred and 60 dollar bet

If you departed at this point you would be up $315 !!

It is herculean to go on a run this long, but it often happen. And when it does you must NOT deviate and drop your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
