I have gambled on millions of hands of blackjack. I started sneaking into the gambling dens when I was 16. I have enjoyed online blackjack, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still lost all kinds of money at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it almost impossible to defeat the game.

I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over the years I have enjoyed a variation of 21 called "The Take it Leave it Method". You most certainly will not get loaded with this method or defeat the house, still you will experience a lot of fun. This tactic is founded on the fact that chemin de fer seems to be a game of runs. When you are hot your on fire, and when you’re not you’re NOT!

I gamble with basic strategy chemin de fer. When I don’t win I bet the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I do not win again I bet the table minimum on the next hand again etc. Once I profit I take the winnings paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original wager. I keep wagering this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely exciting on occasion. If you win a few hands in sequence your wagers go up very quick. Before you realize it you are wagering $100-200per hand. I have had awesome streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Venetian a few years back with $750 after 60 mins using this technique! And a few days ago in Sin City I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can relinquish a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be astonished at the streaks you see playing this way. Here is a guide of what you would wager if you kept winning at a five dollar table.

Wager 5 dollar
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet

Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid to you for a total wager of $10

Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial 10 dollar bet

Bet $10
Leave $10 paid to you for a total wager of twenty dollar

Bet 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet

Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid to you for a total bet of forty dollar

Bet 40 dollar
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Bet $40
Leave 40 dollar paid to you for a total wager of $80

Bet $80
Take 80 dollar paid to you, leave the original $80 wager

Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Wager 160 dollar
Take one hundred and sixty dollar paid to you, leave the first 1 hundred and sixty dollar wager

If you left at this instance you would be up 315 dollar !!

It’s hard to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT deviate and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
