I have wagered on countless of rounds of vingt-et-un. I began working my way into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have enjoyed online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short time. With all that said I have still spent an abundance of cash at vingt-et-un. The gambling halls have made it very hard to beat the casino.

I still like the game and gamble on a regular basis. Over this time period I have bet on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You certainly won’t get rich with this method or beat the casino, however you will have an abundance of fun. This tactic is based on the fact that vingt-et-un appears to be a game of runs. When you’re hot your hot, and when you’re not you are NOT!

I bet with basic strategy blackjack. When I do not win I bet the table minimum on the successive hand. If I do not win again I bet the lowest amount allowed on the successive hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I bet the original bet again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original wager on the table. If I win again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of 4 times my original bet. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I return the bet back down to the original value.

I am very strict and do not back out. It gets very enjoyable at times. If you win a few hands in series your wagers go up very fast. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I left a $5 table at the Palms a few years back with $750 after 30 minutes using this technique! And a number of weeks ago in Vegas I left a game with $1200!

You have to understand that you can say good-bye to a lot faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be astonished at the runs you see playing this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a 5 dollar game.

Bet $5
Take five dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager

Wager 5 dollar
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 10 dollar

Bet $10
Take 10 dollar paid-out to you, leave the initial $10 bet

Wager 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of $20

Wager 20 dollar
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial 20 dollar wager

Bet twenty dollar
Leave 20 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $40

Wager $40
Take $40 paid-out to you, leave the original forty dollar bet

Wager $40
Leave forty dollar paid to you for a total bet of eighty dollar

Bet eighty dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the first eighty dollar bet

Wager eighty dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total wager of 160 dollar

Bet $160
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the first 160 dollar wager

If you left at this moment you would be up 3 hundred and fifteen dollars !!

It is herculean to go on a streak this long, but it does happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and lower your bet or the final result won’t be the same.
