Blackjack is a game that somehow reminds me of a crazy ride. Blackjack is a game that starts out slowly, but gradually picks up the pace. As you ramp up your bankroll, you feel like you are getting to the top of the coaster and then when you don’t expect it, the bottom drops.

Blackjack is so incredibly like a wild ride the similarities are frightening. As is the case with the popular amusement park ride, your blackjack game will peak and things will be going well for a time before it bottoms out again. Of course you have to be a black jack player who’s able to adjust well to the ups … downs of the game especially given that the game of black jack is choked full of them.

If you like the little coaster, one that can’t go too high or fast, then bet small. If you find the only way that you can enjoy the roller coaster ride is with a much bigger wager, then jump on for the crazy ride of your life on the monster coaster. The high-stakes gambler will love the view from the monster rollercoaster because he/she is not mentally processing the drop as they rush head first to the top of the game.

A win goal and a loss limit works well in blackjack, but very few players adhere to it. In black jack, if you "get on the rollercoaster" as it is going up, that’s terrific, but when the cards "go south" and the coaster starts to twist and turn, you had better get out in a hurry.

If you don’t, you will not necessarily recount how much you enjoyed everything while your profit was "up". The only thing you will remember is a lot of uncertainties, a great ride and your head in the sky. As you are reminiscing on "what ifs", you won’t always remember how "high up" you went but you will recollect that devastating fall as clear as day.
